I just wanted to let everyone know that my family and I are ok. Even though we live quite far from the epicenter (we live near Kyoto, the epicenter was about 600km northeast of us in Sendai), we could still feel the earthquake when it hit in the afternoon.

Please keep the people whose lives have been devastated by this disaster in your prayers.
